Billionaires shouldn't exist. If you need more than $100M will buy you, you have a mental problem that society doesn't need to accommodate.

AOC: I want to remind you where the real crime is. It's in the oligarchs taking $170 billion of our money from health care and food assistance and public programs and taking that and funneling it into a secret police program.

Some of the voters don't seem to be on board with our Turds For Breakfast referendum so we're working with highly paid consultants to refine our messaging. We've gotta unite across the aisle to get people eating straight doo doo logs every morning.

Well, this is an utter disaster for science.

This gutting of peer review is very likely driven by Project 2025/OMB/Vought, very likely is about funding junk science, and very likely is coming for #NIH and biomedical research next.

Non-zero chance Kash Patel's FBI learned/learns the shooter was MAGA and let/lets him go
Q: Has Kash Patel told you why it's been so difficult for the FBI to identify who the shooter is?

TRUMP: It's always difficult. So far we're done a very good job of it with Charlie, with the various times this has happened. You'll have to ask the school about that.

Let’s face it. That people chose a man with no morals, ethics, values or decency over a highly qualified woman (twice) is what destroyed the White House.

We could rebuild the East Wing, the Rose Garden and purge all his gaudy ornaments…but the stench of Donald Trump will persist for generations.

Also, Turtle Island Liberation Front seems like a name that right wingers would think left wingers would make up.
I’m finding it increasingly hard to report anything delivered by “official sources” in the US. Could be true, could be a coverup, could be completely made up for nefarious ends.

It’s a country now where no one really has any idea what’s actually going on.

My poor alma mater!!
The New School was founded by Columbia University professors who wanted a university run by the faculty with minimal administration. For over 100 years it has been a unique institution with progressive values and incredible students and faculty from Ai Weiwei to Hannah Arendt. We are devastated.
Last week, the New School issued voluntary separation & early retirement offers to 40% of the full-time faculty & the majority of non-union staff. These cuts to the bone are an ideological attempt to decimate historic spaces of critical inquiry & social justice. Share our statement tr.ee/qQBIDCpIuj

I am horrified by the attack on a Hanukkah celebration in Sydney, Australia. My thoughts are with the victims and our Jewish communities in NYC mourning. As antisemitism rises across the world, we have a moral obligation to stamp it out everywhere it exists.
