I look back now and realise that my A-Level media studies course was built entirely off the back of the Cunningham/Jonze/Gondry set. Formative works!
The Directors Label by PALM was a short lived DVD collection of the very best film/music directors and curated their best most well known works alongside lesser seen curios. Inspiring and very much recommended.

Been enjoying Donkey Skin this morning which is a supremely good, whimsical musical French 70's fairy tale and features songs about why incest is bad, some great effects for the time and the most....most throne I've ever seen. Couldn't take my eyes off it every time it appeared.

Saw Vampire Weekend and Florence + The Machine open for Blue once. So good that when Blur (and the crowd) fell short, I just left and didn't feel short-changed.

2025 has been a great year for TV so far, and I hope at the end of it, we all look back and recognise that the third episode of The Rehearsal's second season is the best of it.
