I do not understand the Chiefs plan today. Bradhard Smith should be getting nearly ever snap at RB. Jalen Royals should be WR1. Jeffrey Bassa should lead the D in snaps. The goal is maximizing Mahomes career. You do that by developing young players (and losing the next 3 games).

With the Mahomes injury and the disappointing results since last year's Super Bowl, the Chiefs should seriously consider a hard reset this offseason. The way they extended the window of contention was admirable but is unsustainable. They need to add new voices on the staff & cheap young talent.
