Man, I always feel bad because I feel like whenever I give my input, turns out they're talking about a completely different subject.
I just feel like I don't really belong here, like in a trying to be a part of the club but always being out of step.

Im not talking about the content of the shows. I think it can be cathartic to see stories that grapple with our actual world. This worked for Andor, Sinners, OBAA, and so on… but the party feels a little over in fandom and cultural hype. Maybe its just a dip due to fascism?

It now takes me between 6 months and 2 years to write an album.. so seeing Sabrepulse crank out 3 AI albums in a month and charging fans full price really doesn't sit right with me.

still p upset by the sabrepulse stuff. making art for me personally, has become more challenging with time, but the love of art is what allows me to rise to that challenge. making the choice to circumvent the challenge in entirety displays to me a distinct lack of love for the craft

What's absolutely sad is there are a few of them that I spoke to that when they actually reveal their human side, they actually CAN be interesting. But they so rarely actually are willing to do that and instead want the validation that status or society or money or awards gets them to feel good.
