Some good points in here (and not just in a “it was cheaper in my day” way)

My own recent cut-off point was £200 a ticket for David Byrne (which I would ah e loved to see but…that’s ridiculous).

Nearly noped out on Tool when decent seats were NZD $400. Ended up opting for nosebleed seats for NZD $170.

But the biggest rort is “Demand” pricing. We used the artist presale code to see Crowded House. Snagged front row seats for $200. Ticketmaster presale had adjacent seats for double that.

Nick said it was about getting a song stuck in your mind that prevents you sleeping, something he said happens to Neil when he's writing songs.

I often go to sleep with a Crowded House song stuck in my mind which is exhausting when you can't sleep
