AMERICANS should be ROLLING COAL to McDonalds for a burger, beer, a slab of raw cheese and a side order of tallow-fried fries three meals a day under new dietary ‘health’ guidelines just issued by Doc Brain Worm.

This is all grown-ups playing Make Believe

The Regime just swept-out Venezuela's leader & dismissed the possibility of working with any opposition figures. Do they honestly think people will just line-up to salute the Yankee Generalissimo?

Military occupation or nothing; fantasy to think otherwise
WELKER: Mr. Secretary, are you running Venezuela right now?

MARCO RUBIO: Yeah. People are fixating on that. Here's the bottom line -- we expect to see changes in Venezuela

It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.

The American people don’t want to “run” a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one.

Yet another reminder that as the Angels of AI praise the glory of the Tech-to-Come, the self-assumed Masters of Our Universe have proven profoundly incapable of connecting products to markets, of sellers to buyers.

If, in the INTERNET AGE you can't draw a line between your offer & the masses...

30 minutes in to Klaus and really enjoying it. How did I not hear about this film til now, yet it came out back in 2019!

So i saw Zootopia 2 and had some thoughts. It’s a good movie, well-worth the price of admission even in this economy. The character work & relationship-building between Nicky & Judy is excellent & it works. The plot makes sense. I’d even dare to call it clever.

Q: How do you identify an American auto executive?

A: You gotta turn 'em around and check fer the yellah stripe down their back.

See the thing i always wondered was

WHY DON'T THEY HAVE SEATBELTS?!

Right? Every time they took a hit from something everyone would get knocked around or ragdolled into a corner. Strap in, fer god's sake!

And Worf! your man on the weapons is STANDING? Dude's eatin floor when he should be shootin!
Actually, the one thing I hate most about the later Star Trek movies and series is the bridge set. There are too many lights. It's visually confusing and unrealistic. Can you imagine working in an environment where no matter where you look there's a bright light shining in your face?

Funny how that always happens.

Congratulations.

We've now entered the era of "Modern Hieroglyphics".

The scary part is that i remember people being confused about the icon's origins as far back as 20 yrs ago, or "one-child-fully-grown-to-college-tuition" ago.

I would love this for the blue alone! It's a stunning shade & the yellow is the perfect complement to bring-out the blue in all its glory. The patterns & overlays give it such a sense a depth, too.

As an abstract it could be anything but i think it doesn't have to be anything but what it is- beauty
i’ve been working on a series of 5 paintings. this is not one. It was one of the wipe-off-the-palette-knife ones, and as usual it become its own piece.

VITTERT: What do you say to people struggling with higher prices?

NAVARRO: We feel your pain. We are literally doing everything we can.

VITTERT: But the president calls it a "con job." How can people think he feels their pain?

So the "Supreme Court" denied Kim Davis her long-awaited day in the sun. Obergefell Stands. For now...

I so want to find joy in this moment but at the same time:

The *frustration* of having your life held hostage to the whims of the insane.

The RAGE at those who were supposed to have your back, now turning away.

The scale of the ocean is nothing short of terrifying. It shames the old gods of our imaginations and makes moot all but the stars themselves.

This is Angel Falls in Venezuela, with its 807-metre sheer plunge - the tallest waterfall on our planet.

Except - it isn't. There's one that's bigger. MUCH bigger. And when I learned about it this week, my mind was fully blown.

OK. Buckle up! (Especially if you don't have a head for heights.)

Republican Memo:

"okay - okay ... what IF ... people were FORCED to work, BUT! stay with me here! ... what if we DIDNT have to PAY them? Huh? huh? Riiiight.....???"

I dunno, Sean, i think we've seen that one before.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy wants air traffic controllers who are not being paid to "show up because it's their job." How about Congressional Republicans show up and do their job by ensuring all federal workers are paid, travelers are safe, and our healthcare is protected? seiu.co/482c2SH

Tump had his name etched into the marble at the Kennedy Center.

Good.

When he's done it can be chiseled-out. Roughly & rudely, just as the Egyptians did thousands of years ago to erase the unspeakable names from their halls of stone.

Once upon a time we called this "Cruel and Unusual Punishment".

It's plainly illegal & immoral

Now? I guess it's just "leveraging your assets".

This is what happens when people rule without consequence or checks. Our whole government was set up to prevent this very thing..

now it enables it
A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.
