After years of decline, 18–29-year-olds delivered a 35-point margin for @SpanbergerForVA — the biggest for Dems since 2017.

Older voters barely moved, but young voters anchored the Democratic turnaround.

Historical perspective on Virginia election results-

Abigail Spanberger is on track to win by the largest margin of any Democratic candidate for Governor since 1961, before the integration-era party realignment.

Democrats will win their largest House of Delegates majority since 1987.

A BIG night.

Los Angeles suffered tremendously because of the wildfires. The president of the United States has wanted to make the immigrants who make the city suffer and declared war on the city. But all throughout it, L.A. makes it work daily. It’s a place where people go to make it. LA deserves this.

The Democrats need to get a hell of a lot of cameras on the White House and plaster the photos everywhere. It's not just the brazen symbol of a megalomaniac destroying national heritage; it's happening during a government shutdown when ordinary people aren't getting paid. Make every American see it.

I don’t know how this is possible. Texas cannot control guard sent to Illinois without violating Illinois sovereignty. It must be federally controlled units, otherwise instead of a Posee Comitatus problem, we have a major constitutional crisis.
this is almost certainly under Title 32 authorities (meaning the TX guard will be nominally under TX state control but on a federal mission), meaning the posse comitatus issues that came up in California will not apply. that said, it raises a whole lot of other legal problems

For the record, we had armed troops in LA in June, car windows were smashed and people pulled from their vehicles, and Americans were thrown on the ground and arrested for complaining, and now Trump is trying to get SCOTUS to say it’s ok to grab all Spanish-speaking manual laborers in So California.
