It's possible that the hostile media did result in lower turnout and a legitimisation of the spoil the vote but I feel pretty confident that Connolly will be two terms and thought of as fondly as Higgens

unless someone informs on a criminal, law enforcement is often incapable of "solving" crimes, especially homicides in which there are no witnesses. TV & films glorify "police procedurals" but the unromantic reality is, your brother-in-law turns you in.
what great opportunities for white-collar criminals in the US at this moment! literally all law enforcement attention is focussed on "illegal immigrants" & deportations of, on the whole, persons who represent no threat to anyone, are unarmed. now, FBI is expected to catch an assassin? how?
