I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Santa falling drunkenly into a canal at 3 am on the way to a techno club. I watched A Charlie Brown Christmas and Mary Poppins on Ketamine with my trans friends. All those moments will be lost in time, like disassociated memories. Time to sleep.

This morning I dragged myself out of bed at 3:00 to head to the West End Bridge in hopes of capturing the moon over PPG Place and the Christmas tree at the Point in #Pittsburgh. Luckily the clouds stayed away for long enough to allow that to happen. Made for an amazing view.

The Bleeding Tooth fungus (Hydnellum peckii) has both teeth on its underside and "blood" on its top!
The "blood" is extracellular fluid, which is squeezed out when the fungus absorbs water, increasing pressure until the red fluid is squeezed out!
