The answer to this is really obvious:
- Right Wingers dislike Labour
- This is tempered by support from the Left and minorities, supporting Labour
- Starmer told Left/Minorities to F Off, then went on to attack them
- There is now no societal counter to attacks on Labour except "sensible centrists"
Glad the FT is asking the question. Even if I’m not convinced they found a compelling answer.
I get that Starmer & Reeves are unpopular, I really don’t understand the extent of the dislike.

Allies concede the prime minister and chancellor have made mistakes yet the level of disdain towards them is still striking

I have bo choice now, as a former Catholic altar boy, I have to tell this joke during the upcoming Christmas Eve supper. Wish me luck. 🤣
At the last supper Jesus lifted the bread and said "This is my body!”

He then lifted the wine and said "This is my blood!"

He then lifted the mayonnaise & Peter said "Stop!! That's enough!!”

MPs laughed when Jake Richards dismissed Jeremy Corbyn’s request for a meeting on the Palestine Action hunger strikers.

Laughed.

This is who we’re governed by, people entrusted to represent a nation, yet so insulated by power they respond to human suffering with indifference and mockery.

"direct violation if international law"? At this point I'm certain IDF could "unalive" a child on the Times Square, and they'd allowed to leave the US unperturbed.

It wasn't a surprise to anyone honest enough.

Can we now have the main architects of the Bruin tried for treason?

Considering how much we already know about Russian involvement in politics it's not hard to see what happened.
