When Lando Norris was first introduced to McLaren’s boss, the meeting did not go positively.

That was a decade ago. Now Norris’ place within F1’s history books is secure as a world champion.

f1 feed has been down for 4hours now. I bet the guy who runs it is a Red Bull fan.

so true. was always Jenson over Lewis (Lewis is better) and Lando over Max (and Oscar who may turn out to be better)
I've always been a fan of the talented but imperfect type kind of person. Think Ash Ketchum from Pokémon. Not the most talented trainer there was, but when he's on he's one of the best out there. And when he finally wins one...

This is in no way an allegory for my Formula 1 fandom.

feel like Formula 1 is finally getting some Manic pixie Girl energy taking over in the pits. Landos family look like they may be actual human beings

f1 feed appears to be broken

not seen much said about the Tsundo v Norris. Redbull are still that kind of team it seems. Yes it was Yuki doing the driving but it was a team ethos that said yeah it's fine to put someone off the track on a straight. (and it's the final nudge as NOR was passing that was the really nasty/dirty one)

that engine change in Brazil for Verstappen was the thing that brought this championship alive. (yes yes. car got better etc etc.. Max is a genius i know).

Really complicated things for Mclaren.

Did we ever find out if RB got that outside of the cost cap??

Formula 1 feed is down. How i going to know which rabid playground brains to block now??

Really hoping that Jos Verstapen reflects on how his own behaviour reflects on Max. Watching Landos family, and especially his mum, in the paddock has been a highlight of the year. A strong juxtaposition to the lurking malevolent machismo of Verstapen Senior

I wrote a Doctor Who book in 2025! It’s based on the episode THE WELL from the 2025 season, written by Russell T Davies and Sharma Angel Walfall and starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor. A perfect gift for the whovian in your life.

Lando Norris' Championship goes against everything we're told about Motorsport. From its false-machismo and ruthlessness, to that push for perfection. And that's what makes it so great.

For the final time in 2025, let's review the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. #F1 www.motorsport101.com/dres-race-re...
Dre's Race Review: F1's 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix | Motorsport101
Verstappen falls just short in victory, as Lando Norris proves a different kind of winner, won a very different kind of Championship. Dre wraps up the 2025 F1 World Championship.

just dipped into the bluesky f1. oh my.. I'll be back tomorrow when everyone is less annoyed about everything and everyone all the time.

ah. here we go.

"rich kid wins at F1 where being rich is a massive advantage" and i am mad about it.

well done. you have pointed out the obvious and terrible inequality in life and are blaming the kid.

kill joys.

reposting this for no other reason than I think i watched both of these races as part of the btcc under card and thinking "You Lando" #iykyk #spaced
some fun (dumb) trivia: Lando Norris is (as far as I can tell) just the sixth F1 World Champion to have raced at Knockhill, and only the second to have won a race there

he won a Ginetta Junior race at Knockhill in 2014, then one of the MSA Formula (British F4) races in 2015
