I know there are many terrible things going on in the world, but I have a low-stakes question. Do you use tubing mascara, and if so, which one is your fave? I have always been a little afraid of tubing mascara (it seems really hard to remove?!?), but I have wasted so much time cleaning up flakes.

My mom is an excessive calorie counter (major disordered tendencies) so I grew up not really eating most normal childhood foods, so I indulge myself now as much as I can, and would eat kid foods every day if my body could take it. Bring me allll your pizza, cookies, cupcakes, and pasta. Kid foods!!

My ACA insurance cracked $1k a month the year I turned 49. I could only afford it by being unemployed and getting major subsidies. If I'd been working at a gig that didn't offer insurance I would have had to pay it in full. My current gig does have it, and that's why I could go to the hospital.

Yep! And the job hunting process is also a nightmare these days, particularly if you're trying to pivot into another field, so it's terrifying. I know so many people who are long-term unemployed or underemployed, like me, taking whatever jobs we can find after 20+ year careers.
