Tommy Tuberville wants a war; he could learn from this GOP governor
“I believe that instead of resisting change, Alabama should embrace change, hold it tight, and never let it go,” the GOP governor said.

Canada just added a toll-free number for LGBTQ+ Americans after our suicide hotline was shut down by Trump. That’s what true allyship looks like—standing up for people even when they’re not at your table. Thank you, Canada, for showing us what compassion in action really means.

Palate cleanser.

Nina Reeves turns 100 today. In 2022 she was diagnosed with inoperable cancer and refused treatment because, hell, she was 97 and wanted to live it out on her own terms. She even quit hospice because she wanted to do more.
She has touched thousands. What a way to live and die.

1/x Thread

Remember the sky that you were born under,
know each of the star’s stories.
Remember the moon, know who she is.
Remember the sun’s birth at dawn, that is the
strongest point of time. Remember sundown
and the giving away to night.

A significant severe weather threat across the southern U.S. is ahead

Any isolated storms this evening and tonight will have to be watched for severe potential, but with the "main show" late tonight the highest concern is widespread straight line winds

Storms could also produce hail and tornadoes.
