four minutes before the end of the movie, the woman behind me yelled, “THERE IT IS, HE’S GOING FOR THE SLING BLADE”
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

for too long, the left wing in this nation has put forward only candidates who represent the "young and cool" or "curmudgeonly" identity groups

finally, lame middle-aged left-wing parents have a candidate we can see ourselves in

Herbstreit should know better than anybody why letting someone try doing two jobs is a bad idea because he used to be a good college football announcer, but yesterday he sleepwalked through Eagles-Bears and today he’s belching out half-baked college football takes
Kirk Herbstreit implores Ole Miss administrators to allow Lane Kiffin to coach the Rebels — if he leaves for LSU — and let him finish what he and his players started.

Lil Jon played Turn Down For What in two different cities today, and I saw both performances from the same couch I haven’t traveled more than twenty yards from today.
If I had a nickel for every time Lil Jon performed Turn Down For What on NBC, *TODAY*, I’d have two nickels.

Which feels like two nickels too many… but also too few.

Kyle Hendricks is a Cubs legend forever. When your children come of age, tell them what he did. Tell them of Game 6 of the 2016 NLCS, wherein Kyle Hendricks and "Clayton Kershaw" faced off and one of them ended up folding like a cheap table.

Enjoy retirement, Professor emeritus.

Trump seems even more unhinged than usual in these new videos. The transition at the 40-second mark alone is just bizarre: "Leave them alone! WARNING!"

He's shouting and almost slurring his words, to say nothing of the fact that he's threatening to start a new war against Nigeria.
