I hear and see your concerns. Over the weekend, a couple users hosted on Blacksky's PDS were banned from the Bluesky app and thus the Bluesky API servers. This was a weakness of our system I've been aware of and hoped we had more time to address before any kind of public incident. 1/11

She won her special election on Sept 23rd but has yet to be sworn in.

a medium-sized composite flower with light purple rays and yellow disks. the petal-like ray florets are long, very thin, and numerous-- over four dozen of em. the florets in the flower's disk are least mature at the very center, where they have not yet opened. surrounding those immature florets is a ring of open florets, appearing slightly darker due to their stamen + style. the final ring of disk florets have faded and turned reddish purple. encircling the disk, there is a short fringe formed by the split styles of the ray florets.

two aromatic aster flowerheads side-by-side, seen from the side. their stems are thick with spreading hairs, and bear many oblong green leaves also covered in spreading hairs. long, hairy, green phyllaries line the base of the flowers, spreading out to the side or recurving back towards their base. above the phyllaries there are many long, thin, light purple ray florets which are held out mostly straight, though many curve down a little towards their tip. the nearer flower seems to have had most of its ray florets chewn off. the rays' straw yellow split styles are clear to see here, running around the red withering disk florets in the top center of each flowerhead. a few disks in the very center are still holding their styles erect, however.

a bushy, mound-like aromatic aster growing under thin branches of shrubs and small trees at the edge of a glade. its obscured stems are hidden within many light green oblong leaves, studded with spiky-looking flowerbuds and a couple light purple flowers with yellow centers.
