The first one had such fantastic music - they went out and commissioned something like 100 artists and bands to make music for it. Amazing! I remember sitting in the lobby, just vibing to it!
To find out that they used AI for things, including MUSIC of all things, really sucked the enthusiasm out.

After a big argument this morning on Reddit, I realized that AI is going to win, because the average person doesn't care. They're perfectly happy with the slop so it won't go away. We've already moved to "well, it's just a little AI, so it's fine" so the dam is cracked, we know where that ends.

However, because it knows AI use "faces strong resistance in creative areas", it pledges to only use it in "appropriate use cases".

The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email
