All these people calling it "capitulation" basically shows the deep lack of class consciousness in Americans. Any class conscious working class person, who understands capitalism as a system, knows this is literally just how an oligarchy — a DICTATORSHIP OF THE CAPITALIST RULING CLASS, functions.
One thing that bothers me tonight in particular is how so much of this is happening because of grand and sweeping capitulation by the media, by companies, by Congress, by people in power. Even when they don’t have to — they simply comply, acquiesce, and appease.

I think a lot of people might think, If SARS2/COVID were really that dangerous, then the government would do something about it and resolve it ASAP.
