Average dude. Trying to interact with normal people and to find out about the world. Not believing in conspiracy theories. Opposing aggression and extremism. Nothing spectacular.

The post-Trump US will need to study the experience of Romania, which from 2010-25 tried and imprisoned thousands and thousands of politicians and officials for corruption and breaking the law. Unfortunately not clear it works to clean up politics.
Renaming the John F. Kennedy Center violates the law that created it nbcnews.com/politics/don... via @nbcnews
Federal funds are just 16% of the Center's annual $268 million dollar budget. JFK's family gave $500,000 toward the construction. Legislation prohibits name or plaques change.
Renaming the Kennedy Center for Donald and Melania Trump would violate the law that created it
The Kennedy Center can’t include new memorials or plaques — for donors or presidents — under U.S. law. Republicans would need to change that to rename it for the Trumps.

While Ukraine has hit another Russian "Shadow Fleet" tanker, this one is significant for two reasons.

The "Qendil" was hit in the open waters of the Mediterranean, 2000km from Ukraine.

And it's rumoured Russia's military intelligence head General Andrey Averyanov was also killed.

Alarming headline from The Guardian, though the actual story is pretty light on details about this intimidation. Apart from Euroclear execs hiring private security + promised legal/economic retaliation against Belgium, we're left only with some anon speculation about the GRU.

Best case scenario but still unconfirmed (important to remember), there is damage to the screw, shaft and rudders, but that's all repairable.
