I think part of What's Going On with billionaires is that the daily friction of interacting with normal people is part of what anchors people to the real world, and once you have enough money to buy your way out of the friction you can knock down a load-bearing column propping up your sanity.

I have never smoked a corncob pipe but my understanding is that if you want to try smoking tobacco from a pipe there's really no better way to start because they cost like $8 at CVS and work fine
My friend just fuckin showed up with a corncob pipe & that’s when it hit me that we are all in our 40s which means we get one new accessory slot
