Whenever I hear good news in medicinal science, I can't even properly be happy for the progress, because my mind goes straight to this predictable outcome. Evil fucking world we've made. I mean, guessing most of the world hasn't even been vaccinated for Covid-19 for years (including India).

I am working out of a public library and there are a good number of people who seem to be on hard times using the facilities for various reasons like job searching, entertainment, charging peripherals, using the bathroom, etc., and I am struck by how important it is that libraries continue to exist

So, I don’t care about this particular man, but I do want to point out that immigration officials pulled this woman aside after a trip to Puerto Rico, which is…not a foreign destination, which means they’re pulling and detaining legal immigrants in the regular degular airport.

Generally speaking it takes money, privilege & good health to immigrate to another country.
