I have a few #sewing patterns that I've been using over and over again for 30 or 40 years. I also have patterns almost that old that I have never used. I do not need any more patterns ever but no doubt I will keep buying them.

There was a black walnut tree in the back yard of my parent's house where we lived when I was teenager. We never managed to crack one. To this day I have never eaten a black walnut.

I have maybe a dozen different meals that I make over and over again and sometimes I get tired of those and want something different but I have to deal with family members who are way pickier than I am.

Still waiting for my immune system to start its customary post-vaccine butt kicking. So far just feeling normal afternoon inertia. But I'm using it as an excuse to be lazy. Watched a ridiculous fun movie: Heads of State. (Prime Video) I would watch Idris Elba in anything.

New: Apple banned an app that simply archived videos of ICE abuses. Rather than other apps that record ICE official's real-time location, Eyes Up is to "preserve evidence until it can be used in court." Videos from TikTok etc. Every submission manually reviewed

I got my flu and COVID shots, no drama, no hoops to jump through, and my insurance paid for it.
