The U.S. has two tsunami warning centers, both operated by NOAA. Employees were terminated from these centers today. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center covers Hawaiʻi, and now it is less safe to be near the beach.

A good friend with a green card owns a business close to me. I hand out with him and his employees/friends often. Many might not be here legally. I took them a flyer about "know your rights" hoping it wouldn't upset anyone. My friend asked his wife to make a dozen copies to hand out to friends.
