Whenever I can, I use dishwashers as an analogy at work. They are what we as humanity should seek to achieve: high quality end product using less energy, less water, and less stuff (in this case, soap/detergent)

Modern dishwashers are an absolute marvel.
People who want to get morally superior about how they hand-wash everything really gotta reckon with the fact that machine dish-washing uses considerably LESS water and emits considerably fewer greenhouse emissions than standard handwashing practices do.

(And you save a lot of time...)

the 'conspiracies are actually real' rpg was very common in the 1990s but I think it's considerably harder to do today because conspiracy beliefs (and the attendant, inevitable anti-semitism) are an obviously malignant political force
I love learning about the little ins and outs of conspiracy and occult lore - the key is to always remember it's not actually real, at best it's real in a "this is a belief some people act on".

Once you actually start thinking there are Secret Masters out there, things go... bad.

"Fucking FLY, you fools!"
The Lord of The Rings movies were rated PG-13. By current rules that means that each film could contain one use of the word "Fuck". Which line are you altering to insert the most useful swear word?

"I can't carry it for you, but I can Fucking carry you"

Another gripe: Bags of Holding aren't incorporated very well in weight management. You should be able to just create an item category with its own carrying capacity or something.

It's also tricky because just editing encumbrance values currently warps push/drag/lift capacity.
I enjoy Roll20 and all but

1. Mage armor is a condition rather than a toggleable under Effects.
2. Things like Agonizing Blast can't just be affixed to a single cantrip, meaning they apply to EVERY spell if you don't remember to turn them off.
3. There is no Effect toggle for Repelling blast.

This has nothing to do with faith or observance btw. It’s just about establishing an official hierarchy of citizenship where they are on top. bsky.app/profile/mark...

You could tell "weird" was working because Republicans committed outright terrorism to stop it.
It's all self-soothing, but I'll never get over how Walz was forced to back down on "weird," which would have been a fine way to expose a freaky husk like Vance who'd sell out anyone for power.

No the fuck I don't, actually.
OK. That's unfortunate. When you make a claim, you're supposed to show some proof. Otherwise you get written off.

I'm vaguely optimistic that student loan forgiveness will become a thing as the ruling class starts making desperate saving throws in the next year or two.

Every other thought I have on this is Fedposting.

the one thing missing from Warhammer 40K is a really good excuse to have ridiculous factions interact socially, especially in the tabletop gaming. A big advantage of the old Rogue Trader implied setting was that it was somewhere space marines and orks clearly sometimes got drinks together.
