Beyond satire.
The execution of Philando Castile was a pivotal moment for me in terms of realizing how hollow the talking points on the right are. When these folks make claims about liberty and protection, they emphatically do not mean it for everyone.
I hope this can be a similar moment for others.

You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.

They would have to want to deescalate, which they don’t. They’ve been told they have immunity, and they see Americans as their enemies.
I don’t think more money for body cams and deescalation training is going to fix this problem.
