People say that those of us who are entertaining the possibility that free elections are over are doomers, meanwhile we have opposition leadership constantly governing like they are cynically hedging with the intention of remaining installed as figureheads during our forthcoming Wink Wink Democracy.

Women will have to craft boilerplate responses to their boss to accusations of having done porn before, or taking “risky photos”.

And those who *have* done porn before? Or sex work? Or taken real intimate photos? Forget about it. No one will believe them. Atrocious state to let us get into.

Let’s not let our analysis stop at the goonerism of it all. I’m begging for our view of this to be wider than some guy’s stained pants.

It’s a labour weapon. A missile to bomb us out of public life. One email to a boss and a woman loses her job, her income, and her independence. That’s the point.

Getting grok to publicly strip a woman’s likeness online or alter her image isn’t just horrifying at the level of the individual, it’ll be used to get us fired, too. It’s a technique to keep us in the home popping out babies because we lost our teaching job when some guy sent porn of us to our boss.

“RTTs differ depending on the device state. Active phones respond in under a second, while idle ones take longer. With high-frequency probing…they were able to map user routines, detect when phones switch networks, and identify when desktop clients come online, without alerting the victim.”

These ridiculous mega-projects like "datacenters in space" (doomed by thermodynamics) make a LOT more sense when you realize they're massive Ponzi schemes designed to transfer wealth from pension funds to VC's through "fee stacking."

It's the old Assets Under Management con. It should be illegal.
“.. Skeptics believe the technical risks are being underestimated and say space-based data centers won’t be competitive on cost, especially if power and other constraints ease on the ground.”

Hi @warren.senate.gov just to be crystal clear I never wanna see you at Boston Pride again prancing around in a feather boa.

By cosponsoring #KOSA you are actively helping the Trump admin take away lifesaving resources from LGBTQ youth.

We asked you to meet with our coalition. You ignored us.
