I don't description well. Not a bot, last I checked. Sometimes I crochet things. I like cats. I dislike billionaires and their apologists.

Unfortunately, but perhaps predictably, this post has inspired the question, "why would anyone need to lie about their location?" followed immediately by, "there oughtta be a law."

The question needs to be flipped:

Why should anyone online be required to divulge their location?
X has changed their policy and now you can see where the accounts are based.

What kills me about that goofball's mEmOiR of letting various withered husks pump away at her for, I guess, reasons--besides that, what kills me is that every text excerpt I see from it could've been written by this lady I used to know whose Book Has a Birthday, She Just Doesn't Know When it Is Yet.

Taxpayers and charities helped develop Zolgensma.

Then it debuted at a record price, ushering in a new class of wildly expensive drugs.

Its story upends the widely held conception that high prices reflect huge industry investments in innovation.

If there's a personality trait that sets my teeth on edge online, it's whatever one it is that compels people to sneer at anyone daring to ask them a question.

I know social media has people thinking they're like little mini-celebrities who shouldn't have to deal with the riffraff, but guess what.

The federal vaccine committee has voted to end the recommendation that all newborns be immunized at birth against hepatitis B.

This committee has zero credibility and the process for this vote was chaotic.

Please instead follow guidance from expert organizations The American Academy of Pediatrics.

The classic notion of commodity fetishism is a thing: when you put more and more of human behavior, interaction, and civilization into markets, you often reduce the space for morality, beauty, humanity

It will be legal.

To rape people.

Do you fucking understand?

Please PLEASE understand this.

And he wants trans and intersex people eliminated, writ large.

I mean, Stephen Miller does, but also a lot of fucking people (all Republicans and most Democrats) are simply okay with this.
BREAKING: Trump administration plans to end prison rape protections for trans & intersex people, memo says. A DOJ memo says certain standards under the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) do not align with Trump’s Jan. 20 anti-trans executive order, @byadamrhodes.bsky.social reports.

What will it take for the U.S.'s reporters/scholars/pundits to stop being shocked when the Supreme Court does the 100% racist things IT WAS APPOINTED TO DO.

We should be leafletting their neighborhoods with tips on how to shun the daylights out of these shitheads, not acting brand new to this.

Work really does get in the way of life. When you think about it, it’s so fucked up. We are humans before we are workers. So why is our humanity, our life not given the priority?

Capitalism really is antithetical to spirituality, to morality, to humanity.

how's it go?

"The first king claimed he was ordained by god, the third king believed it."
See the problem with multi-generational Heritage Foundation style political plots is that sometimes, several generations down the line, the people maintaining & upholding the scam have forgotten it's a scam and think it's the truth b/c all they've ever known in their lives is the scam
So apparently the authors of project 2025 are confused as to why their economic plans are tanking our economy.

I'm confused as to how they didn't know before hand that their plans would be an epic failure?

Didn't work in the 80s, certainly wouldn't work in 2025.

Montgomery County first made its “Ride On” buses free to all riders under 18 in 2019. Then on June 29, 2025, it made all of its buses fare-free for all passengers. The system has a fleet of nearly 400 buses, 80 routes, and provided 19.2 million rides in the 2025 fiscal year.

Zohran Mamdani’s plan for free buses is not a pipe dream. Montgomery County, Maryland, made its buses free this year.

The best way to navigate this is to BUILD AN ACCESSIBLE WORLD. This kills me, and in many/most situations isn't that hard, it shifts the burden of effort where it belongs (on institutions, away from people), and THERE IS NOT CHEATING.
The world just works for more people.
Balancing "no person with a disability should be denied accommodations" with "it's important to discourage non-disabled people from pretending to be disabled to take advantage of these accommodations" is really difficult and I don't have a great answer for what anyone should do about it.

By now it's plain that "blue no matter who" is merely an expression of color preference. (This should have been apparent a long time ago, but some folks have difficulty staying with the group.) That 👇 is a ton of "yes please, more fascism" votes. This cannot be hand-waved away.
This is Durbin's 20th yea vote, Hassan's 40th, Kaine's 31st, King's 38th, Peters' 22nd, Rosen's 30th, Shaheen's 46th, & Whitehouse's 13th.
Dem/Ind senators voting in favor: Durbin, Hassan, Kaine, King (I), Peters, Rosen, Shaheen, and Whitehouse.

Senator Cruz did not vote.
