The biggest electoral challenge in America is getting voters to believe the indisputable reality that their government is full of nazi freaks
White supremacist talking points.

No dog whistles.

Nine years and a billion analyses about how this is a brand new GOP that's left neoconservatism behind in favor of right-wing populism, all for a foreign policy 3D-printed by the most dead-eyed psychos at National Review. I think we can all agree regardless of politics that this was time well-spent

Public records from one school's head coaching search committee accidentally revealed how they're planning to circumvent public records laws during their coaching search

You can probably guess the school from the art, but read it now in this week's FOIAball!

When you’re riding public transit you realize that what’s good for everybody is also good for you. If the bus runs faster, if the train is cleaner, if the AC works, we all benefit

when you’re driving a car, every other car on the road is your personal enemy
The Times parsed the vote using similar categories and again found that the single most determinative factor economic-like factor in the election was "commute by transit" vs "commute by car." It edged out renters vs. homeowners. There's still outstanding data but I expect these trends will hold.

US farmers are saying they "just need temporary help, until things get better."

Here's the thing. US farm exports- which are mostly soy- CANNOT get better.

Other countries expanded their soy industries to fill China's demand.

We've walled ourselves out of the global market, folks. This is it.
