MeidasTouch is wrong here. These images are from two different filings in the Giuffre v Maxwell, suit with different dates. In 2024, she re-filed material with Trump's name un-redacted. It was a scandal, it got news! Both versions are in Bondi's Epstein dump and both remain up. No one deleted. 1/
🚨 The DOJ appears to have redacted Donald Trump’s name from the allegations made in this exhibit in the Epstein files.

Trump’s name was in the original release. Now, it’s blacked out.

See for yourself.

People should have remembered this story - you don't forget a sentence like this. And it's all on the court docket for the suit. The key lesson here isn't that DOJ is making new redactions. It's that they're releasing little new material. This stuff is old. 3/

People are rightly disgusted by this speech, but it’s a measure of fascism’s normalization that many see this as more of the awful same rather than what I think most of us who’ve been reporting this beat hear it as: a significant calculated escalation. Full alert stuff.
JD Vance gets the biggest applause of his speech so far when he says "by the grace of God we always will be a Christian nation"

Nuzzi is the type of journalist who treats politics as offering entertaining characters, and zero stakes or substance.

She has had a remarkably successful career within that particular genre.

Her self-immolation, along with this vacuous memoir, illustrates the genre’s limits.

one of the problems I have with Democrats (and other critics) labeling these "war crimes" is that it accepts the underlying claim that the people being murdered are enemy combatants. They're not! it's just murder!
Fox News' Joey Jones justifies the US military killing survivors after an initial boat strike: "An enemy combatant does not have to have a gun to be a danger or a threat... if you leave anybody alive, they can signal and let others know what’s happening and they can also retaliate through radio."

FYI Epstein document searchers: “McGyver” is a nickname for Trump.
So, in other interesting discoveries, Kathy Ruemmler nicknamed Trump "McGuyver" because he reminded her of mannerisms in the TV character.

This led to some coded conversations between her and Epstein about Trump.

Here is Epstein talking about a conversation he had with "Mcgiver" in 2016 (!!!).
