NEW: Organ tuners have been leaving temperature and humidity records in little-known books for decades. 🎹

They reveal how temperatures inside churches have changed over time due to climate change and increased heating.

A new scoop for The Reengineer!

a weird thing about america is they go on about being all christian and that, and then on christmas day it's *not* a bank holiday. like, there's american football matches on and it's a big day for the cinema. it's like they don't even care about the little baby jesus.

Based on one of multiple versions of a Pushkin poem, the 1910 film RUSALKA tells the tale of a prince who seduces and abandons a miller's daughter. She throws herself into the river and is reborn as a water nymph, then drowns him on his wedding day and uses his corpse as underwater decor.

my favorite thing about the benoit blanc movies is that they aren't really about benoit blanc. he is not grappling with demons from his past. we are not getting flashbacks to the husband whose murder he never solved. he just shows up and does his job like mary poppins for homicides
