“We just drift through life in slow motion like old ghosts, thinking about death.”
Hot take: kasuri methi is far superior to parsley. Just sayin’ ☺️

I was thinking about what gifts people used to give to readers (besides gift editions of famous poets' work and illustrated histories of wars and such), and while I was thinking about it, somebody brought a book to the counter....

Need proof shrinkflation is real? Check out the differences between these two bottles: notice the indented sides & smaller oz? The left I just bought this week. The right I’ve had for over a year.

I hate how wasteful wrapping paper is. This aside, companies that include grid patterns on the underside of their paper... I greatly appreciate it.

Dear clothing designers/retailers:
Can us elder goths get some stylish gothic clothing made of 100% linen and that doesn’t cost over $100 a piece please? I don’t want to look like a frumpy older lady.
Sincerely,
An elder goth going through perimenopause in FL 🫠

Idea: Friend groups make collectable cards of each person, listing their allergies, preferences, etc. Cards can be collected/traded (like photo albums) and referenced as needed. It would help those, like myself, alleviate the anxiety of asking everyone all the time cause our memories are meh.☺️

So many Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. We don’t talk about what happens to folks if they lose their jobs. With the job market basically N/A at this point, it’s going to get really dark. Really fast. 😔

I love Christmas and normally I'd be getting so excited right about now, but this year I'm a little down because it's our first holiday since we lost Fergus. I'm hoping I can spread some cheer and regain a little spirit myself by raising some funds for our local shelter! givebutter.com/n5l31M

I love how every artist has a different style that's wholly and uniquely them. even if ppl draw in the same general style, there's still just ✨something✨ about it that has the fingerprints of its creator and I think that's part of what makes art so beautiful

I was looking forward to start shopping at my local Aldi until I visited yesterday and saw that they had those digital price tags. Needless to say, I won't be shopping there. I refuse to support any company that uses digital price tags. They're weaponized against consumers and it's immoral.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you have friends struggling through the shutdown, consider inviting them over for a family dinner this week. Make too much. Insist they take leftovers home. Some folks can't say they need help out loud but will appreciate the kindness.

MEET VAMPURR
Her fur shines blacker than a raven’s feathers.
Her eyes glow greener than a witch’s brew.
But most unusual of all are her long, needle-sharp fangs.
This is her story...
