If the capitol police reacted on Jan 6 the way ICE did in this encounter there would have been dozens dead
There was amazing restraint and heroism by the U.S. Capitol Police and the Metropolitan Police Department on Jan. 6, 2021. They were viciously attacked by rightwing extremists and rioters incited by Trump.
Also, by their own standards, the cops protecting the Capitol on Jan 6 should have opened fire all over.

This agency is out of control if leadership is no longer checking violations of constitutional rights. Congress absolutely must step in before more people are kidnapped/killed.
A woman recording an ICE agent tells him "Shame on you."

The agent responds, "Have you all not learned from the past couple of days?"

"Learned what?" she asks

Then he knocks her phone out of her hand

Bit of a parable here.
The federal government Friday agreed to pay $125,000 after a judge found a U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent liable for civil assault for pointing a gun at a hotel maintenance man who came to the agent’s room to unclog a toilet.

Masses are now marching through Tehran. Preliminary reports indicate the Iranian Tax Administration building is on fire.

Across multiple cities, disturbing updates are pouring in, wounded and killed numbers are rising fast. The regime is throwing everything it has at suppressing the uprising.

Perhaps, in all this darkness/oppression, the world could somehow find itself experiencing not an autocratic ascent but "a new birth of freedom;" and "that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth" but rise while autocrats stumble and fall. Imagine.
And despite it all, this is Tehran 🇮🇷

I have worked alongside many supremely skilled, dedicated FBI Special Agents who were loyal to their oath of office.

I cannot imagine how soul crushing it must be to be dispatched to Minneapolis not to solve a crime, but to block an investigation into one and protect a murderer.

According to my sources, the FBI was initially open to a concurrent investigation with the MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (the state agency that would do this investigation).

Trumpy U.S. Attorney Daniel Rosen heard about this and intervened, barring the FBI from cooperating with local police.
