This is even funnier if you read literature from a few thousand years ago, where it's people going "Ugh, can you believe that author, he's trying to be /original/, what a cheap and low-class thing to do! Real authors are doing cool Homer remixes, like our ancestors did!"
If you wanted to tell an original story you should have been born a few thousand years ago. Sorry. Now you'll have to make do by simply telling your story well
