Is it not common knowledge that Quentin Tarantino deliberately sent Uma Thurman into a locked room with Harvey Weinstein? Or that as retaliation for her not acquiescing to Weinstein‘s harassment, Tarantino forced her to do her own driving stunts against her wishes, resulting in a serious accident?

Tech is in such a tailspin right now. It’s one of the clearest examples of the way so many industries don’t seem to have anything resembling a long term plan at the moment. It’s like they don’t even expect to be around in another decade.

Just went to a screening of Perfect Blue where the screen was misaligned and the subtitles were cut off so you could only read about half of them. But it’s still such a captivating movie that no one left. Nobody even got up to tell the theater there was a problem. We were all glued to the screen.

It's pretty wild to me that investigators have uncovered that anti-trans campaigns are largely funded by the fossil fuel industry, and that the presumed motivations are pretty directly to redirect the public conversation away from climate change... and that this isn't bigger news.
