The thing about pedestrian safety post 2020 is that its one of the few areas that's massively worse than the norms that existed pre-covid, its bourne out clearly in the numbers, and the only way to solve it is traffic enforcement, sorry

Homeless people are not the only people who need homes.

There are millions of people who’d like to move out of their parents’ homes, ditch their roommates, leave their abusive partners, or move to a different city but can’t because housing scarcity makes rent too expensive where they want to live.
1 million

Bwahahahahaha

The US census bureau says 16 million or approximately 28 homes per unhoused person.

I'll send you the links

good of example of the way that Gen Ai harms art is not through really replacing capital a Art but by replacing human slop with robo slop, and the dirty secret is that slop pays the bills and subsidizes actually good art.

It's hilarious that Fox News treats these things as deeply scandalous, in between segments where a bunch of adults are sitting around saying stuff like, well, you know, fourteen-year-olds *are* pretty sexy these days ...

Civil rights activist Medgar Evers was shot in the back by a Klansman in 1963.

The National Park Service has removed visitor brochures from Evers' museum and reportedly plans to remove references that call his murderer a “racist"

Mitt Romney actively sought Donald Trump's endorsement in 2012 and made Birther jokes in his stump speech but yeah sure Mitt was a victim
Not only does nobody believe this about mistreatment of Mitt Romney, but the Obama 12 campaign went *easier* on him than some of the whisper campaigns in the primaries. We said he was an out of touch rich guy who profited from shipping jobs overseas (true!), we didn't do whisper anti-mormon stuff.
but... but... but shitting on dems all the time no matter what is cool and fun and gets you clout and IN NO WAY fostered voter apathy among left leaning folks that got trump into office again...

Another remarkably superficial piece on one of the more extensively studied questions in urban economics. "Getting CDC recommend vaccines alone does not guarantee health." It's not sufficient, but it's necessary, and publishing a lot of context free stuff about its insufficiency will only do harm.

theres only so many guys who love racism enough to put up with this shit and turnover Is high.

Also they’re only going to get more hated and by extension find recruiting and retention even more difficult
