It appears operatives are grossly expanding the candidate list in Poilievre's riding, in hopes that voters won't recognize Bruce Fanjoy's name on the ballot. Can those in Ottawa please help? Perhaps funds or help with signs or amplifying his name on social media? #canpoli #cdnpoli #BruceFanjoy

Why do we have articles about the rise of measles in our communities without the first statement being: this is entirely preventable so please vaccinate your children to keep them and everybody else safe?

Numbers help no one without a recommendation on how to stop measles.

Hey, American academics:

This horrific story has been confirmed to me by a colleague at the same institute as this scientist. The US is not a safe place to run an academic conference. @theguardian.com have an English language version of this story: www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025... 🔭🧪

If anyone reading this is wondering why so many people on the pro-science end of the spectrum are so viscerally opposed to letting Dr Henry anywhere near the CMOH job, here's a thread for you. Due to her legacy of failure there are a lot of reasons, so it's fairly long:

bsky.app/profile/mark...
Anyone else noticing the surge of desperate efforts to retroactively manufacture ambiguity from those responsible for basic failures throughout the pandemic?

It's simple. Aerosol transmission was known to be a major and serous risk since day 1, requiring N95s etc.

Dr. Henry failed to convey that.
TFW you give a talk about rewriting history in which you, wait for it, rewrite some history.

Dr. Henry claims she's always been nuanced about value of masks and about how COVID is spread, but the record says otherwise.

The federal government should immediately ban Canadian cable companies from carrying FOX News, which is actively pushing disinformation threatening our sovereignty. Why are we contributing to this dogshit organization's revenue?
“Canada fired the first official shot of the American-Canadian war” … This propaganda is very dangerous! … Do we Canadians actually need to be worried now about Americans coming to take our freedom & destroy our way of life?!? 😡💔☮️ #cdnpoli #uspoli #onpoli #tarrifs #tradewar #canadastrong #elbowsup

Advocating for better air isn't just a Covid thing. It's important for all airborne viruses -- and cognition. Better indoor air in schools would reduce student and staff illness and absences and help kids learn better.
Here’s an equation for our Minister of Education of Ontario, Jill Dunlop:

Measles is airborne
+
Measles can linger for hours indoors
+
We have cases in Ontario
=
Reason # eleventy billion to #CleanTheAir in schools and school buses

I have been helping people look up their polling stations all week because they didn't receive their voter cards. But today, suddenly, we can't access the info online because of a glitch at Elections Ontario website. Someone should be investigating this. Just another way to reduce voter turnout.
