Call and write your senators and congress people and tell them what you want them to do.

That is their job & they need to hear from their constituents, YOU, to vote in your interest.

Even if they're not your guy or gal, write them to give them a piece of your mind!!

Doing nothing = the bad win

🌿WHOLESOME HERBS🥣

After all that New Year excess it's time for a hearty porridge to help fortify the body for the year ahead.

For over a thousand years herbs have been gathered, mixed into a rice gruel and consumed on the 7th day of the 1st month as a prayer for health and luck.

I'll transcribe precisely but the gist of his first response was "We are talking about it with OpenAI". When I pressed him on the matter he reiterated Intuit's commitment to safety while admitting he had no idea what plans they had to protect the safety of user data.

First CES panel. Intuit CMO Thomas Ranese is proud of his company's integration with OpenAI, which involves giving AI read/write access to tax data. Since prompt injection attacks are unavoidable, I asked him who will be liable when customer data is exposed: Intuit, OpenAI, etc?

He had no idea.

I’ve posted this before, but here’s a reminder to students and juniors that the game industry has never been this bad in terms of opportunities. The amount of studio closures and layoffs is unprecedented. Not even the crash in the 80s was this bad. I see a lot of talented folks beating themselves up

The Raven Bride With Obsidian Eyes.
Private commission. 2023.
Despite how blue this looks in areas, no blue was used.
Only black and white oil and black, white and gray pencil.
The client pretty much gave me complete freedom. His only request was a character with a crow or raven theme.
