It’s not the ethical issue.
It’s not the sustainability issue.
These are equally troubling - it’s the investor dollar issue.
Investors are pushing the market towards AI to inflate their investments in every aspect.
I still care very much about the ethics of AI usage but I really think its environmental and infrastructural impact desperately needs more exposure.

Once more, no one seems to have the balls to actually make a decision on this issue - apart from waiting to see how someone else has dealt with it.
