All the old friends and the loved ones These are the people you haven't even met Looking forward into the old days Looking back at what there will be There's no reality it's just an illusion There's no real sanity just plain confusion thereisnocia.com
Important thing to know if you weren't aware: people that you invited are connected to you on the server through the invite tree. If they cause trouble, this could potentially affect you, so don't just share codes publicly so anyone who grabs them first can use them.
When we investigate spam networks, we use invite trees to identify where they came from. Often, an entire network of spam bots comes from the same invite tree. This makes it easier for us to track down and ban these accounts.

I think sometimes that feeling just normal *after* feeling awful for awhile is one of the few ways we can experience “being alive” as a distinct and positive sensation all its own.

If you have a lingering fear of getting too involved in any group because of negative childhood experiences with friend circles that helps also
some people think aliens created humans as a biological experiment. others think aliens imprisoned us on Earth to feed on our negative energy. but i know better: aliens created us because they were unable to create Magic The Gathering branded Hot Pockets on their own

Honestly, I feel like one of the really shitty and often unnoticed side effects of the last ten years of progressives on social media over-focusing on policing language and terminology, it’s forgetting that not only can a good ally use the “wrong” word, but an enemy can EASILY use the “right” ones.

the mental image of this manlet sitting in the movie about the doll just getting madder and redder and furrowing his brow in rage while everyone around him laughs and has a nice time is so fucking funny

I have been wondering all day what “the Barbie movie Ben Shapiro wanted to see” would be like
So forever ago on Twitter a nonautistic person said something deeply misinformed about autism and when I corrected her she asked who I was to lecture her on autism; I replied “I’m chief of the autism police, you’re going to jail” and someone said I should put that in my bio

Dostoyevsky invented the hardhat and safety helmet. He was an insurance adjuster. He saw cause and effect in ways nobody else around him could. He saw invisible threads of ignorant culpability tethered to every absentminded twitch of our now godlike fingers.

Edward D. Bullard invented the hard hat. What is this?
i used to think of alt text as a chore but now that i've been pushing myself to use it every time i post images it's a nice little treat to think about how i'm using the image and how to describe it so everyone can understand my posts!

I used to say as a joke that trump’s legal strategy was to commit so many crimes nobody could keep track of them and now even a true sicko like me who keeps up on these things needs a wiki article like it’s the latest baffling chapter of the fucking marvel cinematic universe to follow along

i joke about it but one of the weirder and more fascinating aspects of this work is how...intimate it feels. i never met these men when they were alive, but ive spent hours upon hours in their personal archives, reading their letters, reconstructing their lives. its kind of like doing a séance

It’s just…incredible and awe inspiring and beautiful and every day we deprioritize exploration for the sake of discovery in favor of exploration for the sake of commercialization and resource extraction is an incredible loss for all mankind
