You can actually just not fund the military until they remove irrelevant amendments, and you can phrase it just like that.

My dad used to be a huge gamer and some of my earliest memories are watching him play, but nowadays he’s too old to watch the screen. So he really wanted me to play Wukong in his stead, we bought a PS5 just for that. But I realize im too dogshit at this game 😭 guys what do I do 😭 I lost the sauce 😭

Which isn't to say the Tevinter "ideal" isn't itself homophobic (among other things), but the notion of duty and legacy that it hands down is the true culprit in Dorian's cleft with his family... and I know a lot of fans saw their own painful family relationships reflected in that. Which is great.

I know there are fans who accused me of introducing homophobia to Thedas with Dorian, but it's not quite that simple. There are a lot of folks from cultures and families who can attest to the ridiculous burden of expectation sometimes laid upon children by their parents, and the pain it can deliver.
I’m very glad you wrote him. The scene with his father hits me hard every time. It gets a bit close to home re: me & my mother about who I am.

I don’t know how powerful I was, but thanks. It took years to come out to fans. I disliked the idea of being the “gay dev” like that was more important than any other part of me. More and more, however, I kept dancing around it and eventually decided/hoped maybe it might make a small difference. ☺️
I was so happy when I first learned you were gay. Honestly. It's supposed to be your private life and all, nothing to do with me, but as a lesbian, I felt like I had a powerful ally somewhere among the authors of my favourite games. One who did it for more than just money. One who understood.
