Going through my great-grandad’s old things and we found a pokeball from 1947. The bulbasaur inside was in a bad way. Wouldn’t believe great-grandad was dead, couldn’t handle the new world.
Had to put it down behind the shed. Buried it with the bulb above ground, so something beautiful might bloom.

If you're gen x or millennial, odds are you have known some people online for *decades*. Across multiple now-dead forums, across vast gulfs of time in internet years. You've probably got a friend group that outlived multiple sites.

Happy to announce that around 3 pm on 6/6 (24 hours after my water spontaneously broke) I had a healthy & very cute baby girl by c-section at 39w5d! She’s on the smaller side but doing great, super active when she’s awake. I love her very much and so does her dad <3

Vaccinate your kids!!! I absolutely hate that my pending child may be facing a grim and truly unnecessary future like this. The very earliest you can vaccinate a child for measles is 6 months and that’s with an active outbreak, it’s normally at least a year.
In unvaccinated children, measles has an approximate mortality rate of 3.3%.
That is 28,050 dead little kids. A mid-sized stadium, full of dead kids.
