We make Shadows Over Loathing, West of Loathing, Kingdom of Loathing (still going strong!) and are working on yet more Loathing.

Melville: I hope you enjoyed that bloody action-packed chapter! But now, a moment to consider obscure technicalities about where everyone sits in the boat, how the boat is constructed, and my personal critique of current assigned seating practices.

I will never, EVER get tired of searching through all of the disgusting spittoons in West of Loathing and having the narrator be horrified at me every time.

My favorite artifact in the "you don't need AI to do art" discourse is, of course, screenwriter Dan O'Bannon's sketch of the facehugger to explain it to Giger.

Quoting this so other ppl can see it.

If you want to support indie devs the best way to do it is to review their games on Steam, because games get a visibility boost the more reviews they have.

You don't need to write a long review for it to 'count' either, a single sentence is enough.
@ebihimes.bsky.social hi
I have never written a Steam review ever, but I'm seeing that it would help you (and other indie devs) if more people did

And I was wondering what is a valid review for Steam, do I need a wall of text like most people do or does a two sentence thing is enough to be counted

“what was ‘the incident’ at your church growing up?” our priest was that one who got caught giving out half-blessings so he could skim the holiness off the top and use it to power himself up for bodybuilding tournaments. he was so ripped he couldn’t fit in the confessional

Just a warning about Casper mattresses: they do NOT hold up. I’ve had mine for just a couple of years and it was doing fine, but recently got into a Little Nemo-type situation and the bed broke up over the North Atlantic. Ended up needing a Coast Guard rescue and they laughed at my big nightshirt

Absolutely one of my favourite things in the game.
