Why would we want to accept something that removes human agency and critical thought? Like, quite literally, we are building systems that are making us less capable and less interesting human beings.

Having done one thing doesn't merit you expertise of another (esp when both parties do not engage beyond "self-productivity" bits and are both far removed from the other facets of genai and its production: as it the case with a lot of white men in tech).
Wow 80% bad-faith responses, and people lecturing the creator of Flask here and the creator of Django/datasette in the comments on why AI is useless for software engineering...

This PR is like the perfect distillation of LLM-assisted hubris. Dev who has never written a compiler or even studied the DWARF spec vibe codes out 13k LOC of "support" in OCaml with a bunch of shallow test cases, and doesn't think he needs to understand his own PR because "Claude understands it!"
One of the many joys of using AI for programming is the creation of huge PRs on complex topics that the authors barely understand, but still suggest "because they work". Here's a great example from #OCaml github.com/ocaml/ocaml/...
