They could amend the Criminal Code to align the colloquial and criminal definitions of treason. They could also include breaking an oath to the Crown, which would capture Rath and any secesh Alberta MLAs.

Lots of options if Ottawa can stop studying and start doing.

Is there a chance that if there are floor crossings and the Libs get a majority, they could quickly expand/clarify the definitions and/or the Clarity Act and/or the Countering Foreign Interference act? To put a spoke in the separatist wheel.

Degrowth as a movement is well defined- _The Future is Degrowth:A Guide to a World Beyond Capitalism_, Schmelzer, Vansintjan, Vetter takes great pains in describing its history and definitions and use.

GOP/MAGA aren't doing that.
It is what rw does virtually everytime they've been in office.

What a silly thing to try to dissuade or squash with your nonsense about how it lines up with your definitions.

Strike. Vote with your wallet. Do it. Collectively. Especially. It does matter and makes noise. My perspective is as one who’s collected, analyzed and utilized consumer data for decades.

The synthesis is that we can amend the Criminal Code to align the legal and colloquial definitions.

Also note that Rath and any secesh MLAs took an oath to "be faithful and bear true allegiance" to the Crown.

I think we are just working eith different definitions of what winning means. There was never going to be a grand battle to win the war in 1861, let alone 1863 or 64. That, I think is the breakdown in this convo. The South could have held on, which means they could have won, with army and politics

Is anyone in Law World doing anything fun (for various definitions of fun) with hardware and LLMs/Gen AI? Specifically with a Raspberry Pi or similar? e.g portable voice assistant for attorneys

Can you hear yourself? Quibbling about definitions because you tried to claim a science, research and epidemeologiy specialized organization does that.

Gaza health ministry does not provide health care. Period. UNRWA and foreign donors do.

Granted the more complicated the topic I'm researching the better off I am using a more traditional search engine. Very useful for simple stuff, like definitions or fun facts.

Ironic you try and use Robert Winston as a gotcha. He literally testified to parliament 20 years ago that "Most practising doctors in the field would describe sex on six, totally separate, definitions"
Its correct you can't change chromosomes (yet), but he also said this isn't the sole factor

Wow.

You and I have very different definitions of 'sober'.

His unpopularity is due to the fact that Britain wanted - and needed - sober. Instead we got an authoritarian who has whipped up hatred of minorities and targeted the vulnerable.

Like i do really get annoyed with the left using these terms, but our own often wrong definitions. OPSEC isn't just about what was said, it's also actions. And throwing somebody out who has a very public persona without any prior warning is absolute shit OPSEC, because it's to be expected that

I kept finding two definitions of game mechanics which both felt unsatisfying.
1. mechanics are verbs (too simple).
2. mechanics are [insert complex sentence about rules and systems] (not helpful).

there's a new 40 minute video essay about game mechanics, perfect for your lunch break.

as I said to someone in the comments, I think *thinking about the definitions* is more helpful than actually having them...
