For a mini game the jet ski mini game in DOAX2 is surprisingly solid, then theirs splashdown which is more hydro thunder than wave race. I would assume some indie devs have tried spiritual follow ups.

I turned on an Xbox 360 console again today after a long, long time to check if DOAX2 still works - this is also part of my elective on games and dating. The 360 WAS a rather nice hardware, even though MS dropped the ball HARD after the first fantastic years.

I actually put a lot of time into this one. I liked it better than DOAX2. Loading times were terrible though.

Feeling accomplished as we managed to grab Lost Odyssey (and DOAX2... because this is how I roll) and one of the better 360 models. Alas, no space under the TV (and my massive, humongous backlog).
Friendly reminder that the PS3 and Xbox 360 are currently in the "cool zone" where they're old enough that games are dirt cheap but new enough they're not "retro collectibles" yet. Get your PS3 slop now.

I'd be all over a Hitomi one, haha. TBF, she was turning into an alternate series mascot for a few years from DOA3 until around DOA4 or DOAX2, and it didn't feel undeserved or like she was stealing spotlight.

Got myself a vintage* Dead or Alive figure for cheaphl (*it's based on DoAX2, so around mid-late 2000's)
Definitely rough around the edges, but that vintage** quality makes it feel more valuable, you know?

I think the funniest thing that's ever happened in a video game is when DOAX2 had character profiles that listed the girls' ages... but with a few characters it just... didn't. list their ages.

Super minority here, but I'd love to see Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 break free. That version has more locations and a bunch of minigames that never made into DOAX3 like water skiing.
Despite being a sequel, DOAX3 is just a stripped down version of DOAX2 with updated character models.

I'd play DoAX if they could make a recent game that actually felt like a new game and wasnt just a repeat of DOAX2 with less minigames and more DLC. Even still Id vastly prefer a new fighting game.

DoA Xtreme 2 isn't bad horny either, but when Keijo was the hot anime, I remember thinking if the people who made it were really into DoAX2 because that was the only other place I seen half it's ideas exist.
