I'll bet that went down nicely, Joules. I enjoyed a DoomBar, shared the Gavi. Tea now with my book and then 😴

I really want to agree with you cos it's yallop. But nope. Not for me or northern Mrs B.

And you dismissed doombar so you were never going to be right.

Good morning #Nafo and #NAFOFELLAS

Hope your ready to knock back Russian disinformation, bullshit from US, gibberish from China, and general rubbish from Farage/AfD etc

Doombar was a recognisable and liked cask and it went downhill over a number of years because of being owned by macro. Pubs can’t be a separate issue to cask quality because they are intrinsically linked.

Didn’t help Doombar with what? Quality is a separate issue - that’s about pubs, by and large, although it definitely helps to have recognisable brands.

I wasn’t arguing with what you hadn’t said, i was adding to my earlier points about quality. It’s true if something is recognisable it will be served more but that didn’t help Doombar

I tend to avoid TT LL when I see it outside the local area / Keighley, its getting everywhere which then makes it about as uninteresting a prospect as Doombar! (Obviously not THAT bad of course)

Yes...as it happens...a pint of Doombar please...or your best Porter...perhaps Owd Roger...leave it outside the door.

I see the Bass is getting very popular/common now, what’s the next cask classic pubmen can rescue from obscurity do you think? I haven’t seen a Doombar for some time…

Shame it's with Doombar!

I'm in for a real treat at my non-beer drinking brothers BBQ! Will it be Doombar or the other one?

Overdue #MeetUp with former workmates.
Several pints of #DoomBar in, I was a tad inebriated by this point.

This is the way at my Local Normal Boozer, too. No concession to IPAs, non-lager-drinkers have the Doombar (or whatever) and if it's off (trust me, it's off) you've the choice of 'Spanish' fizzy piss or 'Dutch' fizzy piss. And I don't mind that at all.

Ample opportunities for spin off jokes about “silicone” cock rings, but I’m exhausted and this Singha, Tsingtao, Kirin Ichiban, Tsykie, Guinness and Doombar isn’t going to drink itself (in no great or meaningful order)

All the Doombar you can drink. Don't you dare ask him if you can 'put the football on the big screen please?'

Home Bargains 99p for 500ml of Eagle IPA. "Brewed in the heart of England" with a lovely country scene on the can that looks nothing like Wolverhampton. Tastes like generic beer with a little caramel, but no identifiable hop variety. A little cooked taste. May appeal to Doombar drinkers.

I quite like Corona Zero and Doombar, rather decent taste for 0% alcohol.
