Finally Signal messenger has a built-in poll feature! 📊 I’ve been using dedicated post sequences + agreed emoji reactions as a workaround in various groups until now but that was really cumbersome and impractical. Appreciate the work, @signal.org team! 🙏 Maybe post pinning next?

(I know there is also a ticket to open the post composer in a modal, but I can never find it.)
A form for composing a new post: a large text field with two dropdowns above it, one for post visibility settings (it reads "Public, anyone can quote"), and one for picking a language (in my case "English"). The text input has a dimmed prompt in it "What's on your mind?" Below it are 4 icons: for upload media files, adding a poll, a content warning, and for inserting emoji. There is also an indicator for how many characters I can type (right now it's 800), and a button to publish the post labeled "Post". Yeah, cramped.
