It's for Computer Networking. I have to write a processor that takes a bespoke CSV format for firewall rules and turns them into calls to OpenFlow using a Python library called pox.

1. Ingestion takes data from software & moves it into a cloud data warehouse. Snowflake acquired Datavolo, which commercializes the open source product Apache NiFi, calling it Openflow.

各ネットワークの仮想スイッチにコントローラーが指示を出すだけなので、間のL3危機はSDNに対応していなくてもok

ホップバイホップ型(OpenFlow)
ノード間の全てのスイッチ・ルータにコントローラーが指示をして仮想的にL2通信ができる 全ての機器に指示するため細やかな制御ができるが、機器が対応してきないといけない

OpenFlowはSDNを実現する仕組みの一つ
オーケストレーターを介して、SDNコントローラーから、物理・仮想のネットワーク機器に指示出しをする
オーケストレーターがルーティングテーブルやMACアドレステーブルを作り、ネットワーク機器がそれらを検索することでデータを運ぶ(通常ならテーブル作りとデータ運びをネットワーク機器ごとにまとめてやっている)
サウスバンドAPIを用いてコントローラーとネットワーク機器と通信、ノースバンドAPIを用いてオーケストレーターやSDNアプリケーションと通信する
