I had let my neighbor borrow this and Powerage on vinyl when I was 14, his mom broke both of the records thinking they were his and claiming they were satanic. Looking back I think he was trolling both of us, he thought it was all funny.
Also, I remember the lettering being raised on the cover.

And "Sewerage" of course rhymes w/"Powerage" which was my first, and still greatest AC/DC album. And I mean in situ, BITD, w/Acca Dacca. No latecomer, me. btw The words rhyme the way the Aussies say "Powerage." I am a fascinating man.

“Powerage” has a really bloody good case for being AC/DC’s best album.

The copy of Hardcore California that I read was a copy on closed reserve at the Chicago Public Library. The best part was the reference librarian was having trouble finding the book in the stacks and kept bringing out books that weren’t correct, but that I still wanted to look through anyway.
