#LIFF2024 Film 51: Roadgames - Interesting and well made Hitchcock tribute. Has a few rough edges, but very much worth seeing, and Stacy Keach and Jamie Lee Curtis are compelling leads.

LINK has a great villain: an orangutan made up to look like a chimpanzee. Also love ROADGAMES, which has a great poster to boot.

Thanks, it's fun to do but agonising. There are so many brilliant movies that just mean slightly less to me personally. Roadgames, The Brood, Mad God, Prom Night, People Under t'Stairs, Twin Peaks, Sleepy Hollow (Ichabod & Mr Toad), Universal monsters, many I left out as scifi, could easily sub in.

Death Proof
I love Kurt Russell, but this is Easily Quentin at his worst.
The Hitcher (1986) Roadgames (1981) and Breakdown (1997) are vastly superior road/car horror movies. You should probably check those 3 out instead.
