Arabic speakers don't use initials at all. we just short the long term. Like for example: "the ministry of immigration, foreign relations and Egyptian expats' affairs" is simply "the foreign". The context is almost always self explanatory.

You'd think this stuff was self explanatory, but the thread below describes 90% of the social problems I've encountered in third spaces since 2020
I spent an excessive number of years moderating a gaming forum and I learned a great deal about community spaces and cultivation, whether I wanted to or not. I have critical advice for anyone who runs a game store or gaming convention. Please share this thread with people who run those things.

I’ve also heard good things about the “For You” feed. Everyone seems to prefer it to Bluesky’s default “Discover” feed. To add it to your account, open the menu, select “Feeds” and scroll down under “Discover New Feeds” (“For You” is pretty close to the top). Should be self explanatory from there
